Jeda: Unused Visual

Hello Universe.

Sorry for the long absence. I was badly interrupted by many things and can't touch this blog. Some works I did was a confidential project so can't be posted here and some of my other illustrations, I mean my caricatures, were posted in my other blog: Distorted You.

So for a bribe, I post this picture. This is one of unused visuals i did for Rinda's short story: Jeda. To be honest, this is one of the most difficult project I ever faced. An now, after a year of development process and long hiatus, the project will be on again.

The Script was revised, and the visual will follow. Before we can see the finale version, please enjoy the unused one.

Jeda: Concept and Tone

Remember the Fishy Business (sneak peek) that i posted a month ago? They were just fragments of the artwork. And this is the full preview of the artwork. I drew it based on a surreal short-story called: Jeda, written by a young idealist writer, Rinda Maria. It's just like a collaboration project arranged and curated by herself. Some illustrators will be joined in this project including me.

This is the seventh visual approach that i created for this project (i will show you the other later, perhaps) and it's not the final artwork. She liked with it (praise the Lord), but the final artwork will be executed by manual technique, not the digital one (like shown above).

Thanks for the challenge, Rinda. I hope the final artwork will be better than this one. *fingercross

Fishy Business (sneak peek)

Fragments of unfinished drawing for a surreal short story. I still don't know what will be happened next. Some changes here and there, or another new drawing perhaps. But personally, I'm in love with this one.
