The Gaffer - sketch

This year will be a very hard season for Arsenal. For me, for all gooners all over the world, for the club, and for our gaffer, Mr. Arsene Wenger. Four points from five games on EPL, draw with Dortmund on Champions League. A very hard hard day for us.

But we are Arsenal. We are one of the biggest club in the world with a great history. We were champion. And we will reclaim that title. Bring silverware to our trophy room on the Emirates. We will. This season. And we will win, start from today. From Shrewsbury on the Carling Cup.

Wingless Dragon

He has four eyes for a better vision. Horns to protect the head and the neck. Big head and jaw to make him a very good predator. Gecko-like foot with membrane between the fingers for crawling, climbing and swimming. Ergonomic and light-shapeed body to give a good, fast and effective movement. Big short tail to big a good balance.

Oh yeah.. He is wingless. He don't like to fly. He prefer to swim. He is a shy dragon.

He is me (in a dragon prosthetic suit), haha..

A Yogi

Totally random doodle.

Tribute to Mr. Bolland

I got this beautiful image from my friend, Octa, two years ago. It's a (scanned) quick sketch by Briand Bolland. The artist beyond one of the greatest Batman saga, The Killing Joke. With the genius writer, Alan Moore (V for Vendetta, Watchmen, From Hell), Mr Bolland produced that marvelous tale ot the caped crusader and his greatest villain, The Joker.

Actually, i asked my friend to get the autograph and a little sketch from Mr Bolland at STGCC 09 at Singapore. But i wasn't lucky enough to get what i wanted. I only got this one. A scanned picture of the drawing. Damn!

And today, with that sketch, i made something different. I gave him color, dimension, depth, emotion and smile :)

#01 picture is the orginal sketch from mr. Bolland.
#02 picture is his original sketch with some additional shadow by me
#03 Basic color added
#04 the 3 hours speed painting is done. And i see the combination of Jack nicholson and Hugo weaving in him. Haha..

At the end, Smile :)
